This tutorial covers how to make any synth sound type in Ableton Live's Wavetable synthesizer. We talk about how to make keyboard, synths, pads, arpeggio, basses, leads, as well as drum synth kicks, snares and hi-hats.
I've found the secret to learning synthesis is focusing on simplicity. A lot of people add unnecessary details to complicate what they're talking about, but by following this video, you can do a straight shoot through just about every type of sound people look for on the synth, the rest is just adding other details.
