HOW TO MAKE BANH XEO | VIETNAMESE SIZZLING CREPES

Bánh Xèo is a savory crepe made of a coconut and turmeric batter, traditionally filled with savory pork, shrimp, and beansprouts. It's served with fragrant herbs, crisp veggies, and sweet fish sauce called Nước Chấm. Each bite fills your mouth with an incredible combination of aromatics, textures, flavors, surely to bring you back for more bites. Bánh loosely refers to cake (or things made of starches and flours) and Xèo refers to the sizzling noise that the batter makes when hitting the hot pan. I used to eat this dish quite a bit with Vietnamese and Cambodian families. While this is a Vietnamese dish, Cambodians have adapted a yummy version of this as well, that's very similar.
