Take a walk down to the stream with me to pick Field Rushes. I'll show you how to make the simple Brigid's Cross to celebrate the Godess of Fire and Water at this time of he Celtic Festival Imbolc.
🌷The Sweater I'm Wearing: In this video I'm wearing a sweater I finished knitting (a 5x year project!) with natural brown alpaca yarn. The bottom jagged pink line in the pattern was naturally dyed with some of my homegrown Hopi Red Amaranth. I am excited to say this will change colour over time to a warm yellow, something I planned for in the design. If you'rw living in Ireland, you can get seeds for this Amaranth at Irish Seed Savers. They're a delicious food too!
🌺Scarf: The pink scarf im wearing is dyed with the very long lasting and traditional dye plant Madder Root.
