Ingredients List:
1.5 cups fine bulgur
1 teacup of semolina
1 egg
2 tablespoons of flour
1 coffee spoon salt
1 coffee spoon paprika
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of cumin
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
For the sauce;
2 tomatoes
6 cloves of garlic
Half a teacup of oil
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
Parsley
Half a lemon
Yoghurt
Preparation:
We soak the bulgur with 1.5 boiling water, cover it immediately and rest it for 10 minutes. We add semolina to it. Add flour, egg, spices and tomato paste and mix well. By adding water, we obtain a rolled bulgur patty that is not very hard. As I show in the video, we put them in pieces as big as hazelnuts, roll them and make them hollow with our pinky finger. You can easily shape it if you put water in a small bowl and wet your hands. We grate the tomatoes. Chop the parsley and garlic. Pour 1 liter of boiling water into a saucepan. Squeeze half a lemon and add salt. We cook the bulgur buttons for 10 minutes. We pour the oil into the pan, add the garlic. Add the tomato and tomato paste. We make the consistency of tomato sauce juicier by adding some of the water we use to boil the bulgur buttons. We pour the sauce on the buttons. We chop parsley on them. We serve it with yogurt.
