This Recipe makes 48 cake balls if measured at 1oz. Different Cake Mix Brands may give more or less. For smaller cake pops measure out .8ozs Or .9ozs
Recipe/Vanilla:
1 box Vanilla or White Duncan Hines
1 small box vanilla Instant pudding
3 lg eggs
1 cup Water
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
1 cup AP flour
2 tsp cookie nip flavor or vanilla extract
Recipe/chocolate:
1 box Chocolate Cake Mix Duncan Hines
1 small box chocolate Instant pudding
3 lg eggs
1 cup Water
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
1 cup AP flour
2 tsp cookie nip flavor or vanilla extract
Recipe/strawberry:
1 box Strawberry Cake Mix Duncan Hines
1 small box vanilla or strawberry Instant pudding
3 lg eggs

Storing Cake Pop Dough:
Store in the refrigerator for up to a week or
Store in the freezer for up to a month.
Make sure that the cake pop dough is stored in an airtight container or ziplock bag to lock in freshness.
Then when you’re ready to dip your cake pops, simply remove them from the refrigerator, leave them on your counter until your dough comes to room temp.
When removeing them from the freezer you would want to let them thaw in the refrigerator before dipping, then your counter until It comes to room temp. Otherwise, you can end up with unsightly cracks and undesirable moisture leaks.
The best option is storing your Cake Pop Dough in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Storing in the Fridge/Freezer:
When storing in the fridge or freezer, you extend the longevity of your cake pops. The important thing to remember is that storage is key to success when using this method.
Cake pops are fragile little things that should be taken care of. The best place for cake pops in an airtight container with a paper towel underneath and on top. If you don’t have that, then a freezable plastic bag will work. Just wrap the cake pops for a little extra padding and security.
When you’re ready to consume, let the cake pops thaw on the counter. Cake pops are their best at room temperature. Out of the fridge, it will take around an hour to thaw. However, cake pops coming out of the freezer need several hours, so take that into consideration.
