These button closures, or 一字扣, are typically found on qipao, or cheongsam, and other traditional Chinese clothing. This closure uses two colors for an extra pop of color.

While I am still learning and will continue practicing to make them neater, I share tips that might be helpful for beginners. Note: Everyone ties there knots a bit differently, so this is just one way that might work for you.
