This is one of the easiest ways to make fire starter that I know of. It doesn't require melting wax, cutting up candles or lots of time & effort. It's also very inexpensive. We use loose leaf tea bags, wood chips (or whatever you have available) and paraffin lamp oil. A very conservative estimate puts each "tea bag" at .15 - 20 cents.
