How to make gravity defying cake | Top forward, acrylic dummy & spheres topsy turvy cake structure

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Gravity defying topsy turvy cake with top forward acrylic dummy and spheres. Spheres bottom part has 3 coats of chocolate and about an inch thick layer of chocolate at the bottom. This is for support of that particular cake tier. You may add one more coat for stronger base. The top part has one coat chocolate and a thick coat of chocolate ganache piped in. The acrylic tier is supported by the nuts at its bottom and top. We do not tighten the nuts too much to avoid breaking the dummy. The round cake slanted tier sits on wooden board that sits on slanted conduit pipe. A nut that supports the board does not get to tighten much. Tightening it results in the board straightening. So for us not to lose the slanted look, we do not tighten. We added melted chocolate to strengthen the nut and board union. Also added the melted chocolate to the board so as to stick our cake on the separator to the wooden board. Reinforcing to avoid any chances of the cake sliding somehow. We added chocolate goodies to the dummy. You may put macarons or any goodies of choice. Flowers or other decorations which go with cake theme will do.
