#homemadechickensoup
A very delicious one pot meal for the family! Superior to any canned soup in the cupboard 😁😁Give it a try.
Tips:
1. For colour perfection, use a rich coloured pumpkin but to take it up a notch, remove some of the pumpkin and carrot from the pot and puree it till very smooth then add it back to the pot. It improves colour drastically but also contributes to richness.
2. If time allows, season the chicken and SEAR it in the pot with a little butter or oil before boiling it. You may also saute the pumpkin, onions and carrots as well as celery if you like before adding the water.
3. You may cut the chicken in chunks or you may not. It's your choice. Sometimes the whole pieces will fall apart as they boil if you decide not to cut them up.
