Video Not Working? Fix It Now

At one point or another we've all wondered how we can make a living in comic books. If you're an artist, steady paying gigs are going to be hard to come by. Even salaried positions can be a rare find. In this video I look at the options and escalation a creative independent can pursue to make a name and earn a buck at the same time. These methods are: 1. Commissions - exchanging your drawings for a predetermined rate. 2. Sequential / Salaried artwork - becoming a production artist on a serialized project. 3. Merchandising - Using a web store to sell prints, t-shirts, mugs, and more and generating a means of passive income on work you've already done. 4. Crowdfunding a project - Using a platform like Kickstarter to fund or distribute physical merchandise you need investment funds for 5. Subscription model - Utilizing a platform like Patreon to regularly engage with a core audience of fans who support you.
