The items I used are listed down below. Items used Blender ( optional) a stick blender will work just fine Gloves Protective Eyewear Spatula ( i personally like to use 2) Soap Mold Scale Thermometer Mask Strainer Bowls Pitchers Measuring Cup Stick Blender Soap Cutter Cling Wrap (optional) Soap Stamp (optional) Recipe Apricot Kernel Oil 2.72oz Castor Oil 1.36oz Olive Oil 13.60oz Shea Butter 2.72oz Coco Butter 5.10oz Coconut Oil 8.50oz Whole Oats( before you make your milk) 1 cup Water 5.47oz Oats Milk 5.47oz Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) 4.76oz Soaking the oats is a step that you can skip if you like, but if you do soak them just be sure not to let your oats soak for a long time they will become slimy. Some people let them sit for an hour. I let mine sit for an hour once and they where too slimy. PLEASE NOTE when replacing water with milk you might end up with a few floaties in your water/lye solution. It’s okay just strain the solution before adding it to your oils. Also please keep in mind that what works well for some might not work well for others. There are many factors that can contribute to the finished product. This is what works for me I am not an expert by any means I’m just sharing my experiences with you. I did not do a water discount with this soap if you decide to discount the water then you will need Water 4.92oz Oats Milk 4.92oz Sodium Hydroxide 4.76 oz You will have extra milk left over once you measure out the amount needed for this recipe. Feel free to do as you please with the leftovers😊.
