In this video, I'll show you how to bake the most crispy, crunchy, and delicious chocolate and nut cookies at home. This is my absolute favorite cookie recipe—I've made it so many times, and it never fails! Once you try it, you’ll love it too! ❤️
Ingredients (for 8 cookies):
Warm butter 100 g
Flour 110 g
Salt 0.5 tsp
Soda 0.5 tsp
Sugar 145 g
Eggs 1
Chocolate 100 g
Nuts 100 g
Process:
- Add sugar to very warm butter. Whisk on high speed for 4-5 minutes. It should increase in size and turn white.
- Add egg. Mix well.
- Add salt and soda to the flour and mix well.
- Add dry ingredients to the butter and mix. I mix using a hand mixer with hook attachments. The dough is very sticky and soft. That's ok. Don't add more flour.
- Cut the chocolate and nuts into small pieces. Add to the dough.
- Place the dough on cling film and wrap it into a sausage shape. This will help us cut the dough into equal pieces without using scales.
- Since the dough is very sticky and soft, I put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Cut the dough into 8 parts. I bake only 4 of them. I freeze the remaining cookies and bake them when I want something sweet. They can be stored this way for up to 3 months.
- Press each cookie down a little with your hand.
- Bake for 14 minutes at 180 degrees.
- After baking it is still too soft. Let it cool completely.
