Ingredients: For the Dough: 2 cups whole wheat flour ½ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon oil Water (as needed) For the Filling: 1 cup green peas (matar), boiled & mashed ½ cup sweet corn, boiled & crushed 1 green chili, finely chopped ½ teaspoon cumin seeds ½ teaspoon garam masala ½ teaspoon red chili powder ½ teaspoon chaat masala ½ teaspoon grated ginger 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves Salt to taste 1 teaspoon oil or ghee For Cooking: Ghee or butter Instructions: Step 1: Prepare the Dough In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, and oil. Add water gradually and knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 15-20 minutes. Step 2: Make the Filling Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan, add cumin seeds. Add chopped green chili, grated ginger, and sauté for a few seconds. Add mashed peas, crushed corn, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala, and salt. Mix well. Cook until the mixture is dry. Turn off the heat and add chopped coriander. Let it cool completely. Step 3: Prepare the Paratha Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into small balls. Take one ball and roll it into a small disc. Place a spoonful of the matar-corn filling in the center. Bring the edges together and seal tightly. Roll it gently into a paratha, ensuring the filling doesn't spill out. Step 4: Cook the Paratha Heat a tawa (griddle) on medium flame. Place the rolled paratha on the hot tawa. Cook for a few seconds, then flip. Apply ghee or butter on both sides and cook until golden brown and crispy. Repeat for all parathas. Serving Suggestions: Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or green chutney. You can also add butter on top for extra richness.
