Video Not Working? Fix It Now

In this video we'll see how to use toms to complete the groove of your track's low end.

We introduce you to the concept of syncopation, a.k.a. rhythms that accent the weak beats.
Then we show this in practice, in the context of a track with some sound design as well, layering in some bass, all that good stuff 😁.

The type of toms we will programme here are similar to those used by artists like Mind Against, Colyn, Tale of Us, Colyn, Eelke Kleijn, and other artists on the Afterlife and Life and Death labels. Particularly, you might recognise this pattern from "Mind Against - Walking Away".

We use Ableton Live 10, and typical Roland TR-808 drums, and Ableton's Wavetable synth for some sound design.
