- 3 Large Chicken Breast Cut into Strips
- 48 fl oz Oil for Frying (Vegetable/ Canola/ Peanut)
- 2 Tsps Kosher Salt
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
WET MARINADE:
- 1 Cup Whole Buttermilk
(I only recommend using buttermilk. No milk for this recipe. To make buttermilk using milk, add 1 Tbsp of Lemon juice to a cup of milk and let it sit for 10 minutes.)
- 1/4 Cup Hot Sauce
- 1 Heaping Tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 Tsp Mustard Powder
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
DRY:
- 2.5 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 Heaping Tbsp Seasoned Salt
- 1 Tbsp Paprika
- 1 Tsp Mustard Powder
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
HOT HONEY PEPPER SAUCE:
- 1 Cup Honey
- 1 Cup Hot Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- Lemon Juice to Taste (OPTIONAL)
- Parsley (OPTIONAL)
