The process of flattening and rolling the dough might seem intimidating, but these layered breads are actually not complicated or very time consuming to make. It will incite me to share more easy and delicious home made bread 😊 Ingredients: 5 cups white flour 2 cups semolina 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon yeast 1tablespoon honey ( optional ) 3 cups water add more if needed 1/2 cup vegetable oil for greasing the dough 6 tablespoons. Butter Semolina paste to spread on the flattened bread: oil . Semolina, corn starch , baking powder. Making the dough: 1-Place flour , semolina , salt , warm water, honey , yeast , oil . 2- knead the dough until soft 3- put it is a plastic bag to rest for 15 min 4- knead tgw dough after resting 15 min for few minutes until elastic and supple. 5-Divide the dough into 7 pieces and form each into a ball. Place the balls on the sheet pan and use your hands or a brush to lightly rub the balls with oil , cover with plastic wrap and let in warm place for 20 to 30 min . 6- combine oil , semolina, baking powder, corn starch. Oil your surface area and place a ball of dough on it 7- Flatten the ball lightly and spoon about 1/2 tablespoon of semolina mixture on top. 8-Flatten the dough as thin as you can 8- Form a circle and spread the semolina mixture on the circle. 9- Fold the bread into squares as shown in the video. Cooking: Lightly heat and oil the griddle ( pan) over medium high . Gently place the flattened square bread on the warm pan and cook. Turning several times until golden .
