It seems like every day there’s a new update on Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 in the MCU. We don’t have a specific writer attached or a director, but Sony claims that they’re wanting to begin shooting this year. Kevin Feige has reportedly been pushing for a more street-level story that’s true to the version of the characters from the comics, but Sony is wanting another No Way Home level success, meaning they’re wanting to bring back Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield while using more of the multiverse. I think we can all agree that the multiverse has run its course. It was a Pandora's box that shouldn’t have been opened in the first place because all it does is lead to hollow stories using fan service and cameo bait as a crutch. So, with this in mind, I wanted to explain how I would write this movie if Kevin Feige personally approached me and asked me to write this film. I’m strongly in favor of having that street level story, so that’s what we’ll be doing here today. With this being said, here’s my pitch for “Spider-Man: Identity Crisis.”
