Drawing realistic, highly detailed fur relies on the right technique and it all starts at the base foundation. This is a key process to maximise the depth that is captured in our pastel drawings. There are three main stages that I use which all incorporate any layers within each stage to push the level of realism we can capture when using pastel pencils.
