In this tutorial I'll show how to paint a black cat in acrylics. How to paint black fur relies on the layering process. I'll show my preferred process for building up depth and realism. These tips and techniques can be transferred to other black fur paintings. The use of colour plays an important role as black fur is very reflective and again just with layers this colour adds more depth to the artwork.
