Sometimes we can be inspired to paint at the most unusual times like sitting in a traffic jam.
Seeing a bunch of poppies was just such an inspiration and I knew I had to paint them. My painting isn't perfect but there are some lessons to learn from my picture.

I painted a simple sky with acrylics and used Bob Ross Landscape oil paints for the poppies and wheat.
