We are going over the steps to paint brake calipers on a 2021 Mustang GT. This includes removing the brake calipers, painting, and installation. If you are painting rear brake calipers on a new Mustang with a heavy gloss coating (Galvanized Zinc Coating), ensure they are wire brushed/sanded greatly before painting. If not, the paint will have a hard time sticking to the factory protective coating.
Note: Wait 24-48 hours before driving your vehicle.
