Tools used in this video:
Dotting tools from Mark's Mandalas (Amazon)
Silicone 3.7 inch art stone mold #2 from The Happy Dotting Company
Silicone stencil from The Happy Dotting Company
Ultracal 30 gypsum plaster cement (Amazon)
Tinsky Polymer Clay sculpting tool with ball point
General's charcoal white pencil
15 ml paint pots with lids (Hobby Lobby)
Liquitex pouring medium (to thin paints that were too thick)
Art Resin
Q-tips
Latex gloves
Plastic cutting board (to place stones on after they are coated with resin)
I mix my paints in small plastic cups with airtight lids. I usually combine a craft paint with drops of Golden Fluid paint to boost the pigment saturation. If the paint is too thick for dotting, I add Liquitex Pouring medium to make it the right consistency, somewhere between Yoplait yogurt and heavy cream.
