Have you ever wondered how you can make your watercolours look more contemporary? In this demonstration I show how I created two semi abstract watercolour landscape paintings using a medium called aquapasto. This is a fantastic medium that add body to the watercolour paints but maintains the transparency. Once down you can drag the watercolour and aquapasto mix about and make marks in it using silicon tools or just the end of your paintbrush!. I talk about the colour palettes I chose for each and talk briefly about the principles I followed when making colour mixing choices.
I love to get feedback from people so if you have any questions or comments then let me know in the comments section below the video.
