How to play trills... and how to PRACTICE trills!
Trills can seem daunting to recorder players - don't your fingers have to be reeeeally fast, and don't they sound really difficult..? Well, with a few tips, some information and some exercises, I'll help you to de-mystify these lovely little ornaments, and send you on your way to happy trilling! (that sounded weird)

NOTE: Woah. Trills come in SO many shapes, sizes, styles, forms... and there are a lot of people doing great work out there, figuring out exactly how trills were authentically performed in certain baroque styles. I can't impart ALL of that in one video! Of course, every thing I say (e.g. trills should be played on the beat) can also be done in a different way (e.g. uh, play them off the beat). I'm not aiming to tell you exactly how trills should be played now and forever, but to give you a way in, and tools to practice the trills YOU want to make :) If you have interesting info regarding this (sources, links, nuggets of information) PLEASE share below!
