I love picking up big, beautiful, colourful bell peppers in September at the farmers market. This is one of my favourite ways to preserve the flavour of the peppers, and the presentation of these peppers in the jars is outstanding!
In this video, I show you how to roast bell peppers so that you can easily remove the skins. Wearing disposable gloves, I slice the hot peppers into rings. Then, I show you how to easily layer the peppers into hot, sterilized jars so that you have a beautiful presentation of the peppers.
