Video Not Working? Fix It Now

In this video, I'll show you how to trim a lilac.
Hello dear friends!
Many gardeners ask me: "How to take a cut from a lilac?", "How to cut a lilac?",
"How to grow a purple tree?", "How is the violet tree harvest after flowering?",
"How to care for a purple bush?" And
"How to cut a purple bush?"
Now I will answer all these questions in just a few minutes!
Violet decoration is easy! You just need to know its features.
And remember that you need very little.
Thanks to my recommendations, your lilac will not capture the territory and will blossom annually and powerfully.
And, as always, I will not only tell you,
but I will show all the manipulations on the example of this violet bush.
He was never circumcised, and he grew up in an abandoned country house.
So, what you should remember:
At first:
The most important pruning should be performed immediately after the lilac bloom.
Immediately, as soon as the flowers, panicles begin to disappear!
This must be done annually and necessarily!
How it's done:
You must cut off the base of the flower.
This is slightly higher than the two new shoots that come out of the stem with the end of the old flower.
After flowering a faded brush forms a multitude of seeds, which have the form of a double-winged box.
Seeds in the process of maturation take a lot of strength from the bush.
Lilac will have more strength for the growth of flower buds.
If you cut out the faded corolla, the flower buds will be larger.
Flowers will be more, bloom will be more vivid.
If you always remove old flowers, then the lilac will not capture the territory.
Many gardeners are unsuccessfully struggling with the growth of lilacs.
Now it will be completely under your control!
So, the first rule: cut flowers right after flowering.
The second thing you should remember:
In no case can you cut off all panicles along with part of the branch!
That's how you should not cut flowers!
Lilac blooms only on the ends of shoots, which appeared last year.
Flower buds are formed only in the sinuses of the upper leaves.
They can be 1-4 pairs. It depends on the variety of lilacs.
Therefore, if you cut all the floral panicles along with the twig, you cut off flower buds.
This means that the flowering of the lilac will not be in the next year!
You can remove flowers with a branch only if you do a rejuvenating pruning.
These manipulations are also performed after flowering or early spring.
This lilac was not circumcised. The flowers are old.
I will show the basic principles of thinning and rejuvenation of trimming.
So, the first stage: thinning.
First, this purple bush should be diluted. The bush has very few flowers.
The bush consists of several trunks that compete with each other.
Therefore, they are so thin.
A healthy violet bush should have no more than three or four trunks.
But so that the lilacs will not lose their ornamentality next year, now I leave more stems.
Next year I will cut some more stems.
The shoots should be cut slightly below the soil level.
I remove all the shoots that are directed inside the crown and the dried branches.
The second stage: rejuvenating pruning lilacs.
The stems, which are more than 5 years old, will have only small flowers.
The flowers will be very high.
If you create a lilac, then it will please you with excellent colors for many decades.
Annual pruning of the bush promotes intensive growth of powerful shoots with the formation of large flowers.
Flowers appear only at the ends of branches. This bush, not rejuvenated, so its flowers are very high.
They are small. So, how to rejuvenate the bush?
If a strong shoot is high, it should be cut into side shoots. You can choose the height yourself.
Lilac must be shortened only after flowering.

So, you can remember only 2 rules:
The first rule: immediately after flowering, we must cut off all the faded flowers.
The second rule: we must do a rejuvenating pruning and make a thinning of the lilac.
All this can be done at once, for 1 time!
It's all!
