Old house renovation often involves sagging floors. There are a number of potential solutions to raise sagging floors that are no longer level.

In this case we opted to use screw jacks or floor jacks plus a hydraulic jack here and there to do the heavy lifting..

We built a temporary wall in the basement before removing the rusty screw jack and putting in a series of new floor jacks.
The jacks were raised 1-1.5 turns ( or about an eighth of an inch ) every other day or so till we had reach out desired height of around 1 inch.
Sagging floor repair requires professional consultation with a structural engineer to do it correctly and safely. It also requires patience. In our case this old house we are renovating took over 100 years to develop sagging and unlevel floors. So jacking up those beams to raise the sagging floor is a slow deliberate process.
