If your washing machine doesn’t go into neutral to drain the water before the spin cycle then it needs to be repaired. In this video, I show you how to rebuild a Whirlpool transmission using a neutral drain kit. Spinning a heavy tub full of water puts unnecessary strain on the washing machine’s clutch and motor and will eventually cause it to catastrophically fail.
