How to bypass a TORS on a Yamaha Blaster 200 (YFS200)

Today we are working on a Yamaha Blaster 200 (YFS200) and we are going to bypassing the TORS on the carburetor because often times they go bad rather than help you out or be used. If they go bad you will get no spark at the spark plug. Now if the problem is your ATV is not getting fuel to the engine that's a different problem. The TORS just breaks the connection to the spark plug. This project should take you roughly 10-20 minutes.

*The TORS provided by Yamaha is meant to protect you if your machine's throttle gets stuck open or your cable breaks. If you remove the TORS it will not shut off if this happens and I or Yamaha are not responsible for any injury or death. With that being said know you can still use your kill switch, key, or pull your clutch and stall your ATV if this happens.*

So with that being said let's dig into it. This video is for older Blasters, the 2003 and newer are different.
