Mr Dog Poop inadvertently broke a deck post holding up his roof while parking a trailer. So his maintenance person has to replace the post using a chop saw, hammer drill and a few hand tools. If you have a post that needs to be replace weather because of an accident or decay, this video should help you understand the easy process to replace the post yourself. It is a simple DIY project that will save you a lot of cash if you don't hire an expensive contractor. These 4x4 posts are very common on decks, porches and covered open spaces. Our apologies for the shaky video, the camera guy must have been drunk, but we could not shoot it again once the repair was completed. Hopefully you find it useful in spite of the drunk camera guy.
