The thought of changing a hydraulic hose can fill you with dread. Especially if it’s on a modern bike like this one, with internal routing. But, with the correct tools, and a bit of knowhow, it’s actually really easy.
In this video, I’m going to show you the step-by-step process of replacing a hydraulic brake hose on this bike. I’m going to be working on a Shimano road system, but the principle is similar across most hydraulic brake types.
