How to replace a JEEP 42RLE trans solenoid, fix for limp mode and stalling at low speeds! (JK, TJ)

Symptoms often experienced by this valve going bad is the typical limp mode/2nd gear and stalling at low speeds/idle. This is an absolutely a doable at home project but it takes slow and steady work, not something you want to rush through and a second set of helping hands is not needed but highly recommended.
