Hey folks! In today’s video, we’re attempting to reach the scoring limit in Balatro in an unseeded run. To accomplish this, you need to score over e308 which can be done with a few strategies but the easiest involves an early Perkeo on Ghost Deck. Ghost Deck allows Cryptids and other Spectral Cards to show up in the shop, allowing you to hold them in your consumable slot for Perkeo which will add Negative copies of a consumable. With that engine online, the typical Baron Mime build with Red Seal Kings copied by Cryptids handles the scoring. Because this scoring setup relies on cards held in hand to score, more hand size equals more score so with enough Cryptids you can reach a large enough number of Red Seal Kings in hand to break the scoring limit. Since this strategy relies on finding an early Perkeo, I used the Brainstorm mod to automatically restart runs until a Soul Card appears to ensure the Perkeo is attainable. From there, I’m on my own as the run is unseeded. Enjoy the video!
