How to scratch build detailed seatbelts for scale model plane cockpits

This video shows you how to scratch build your own detailed pilot's harness or seatbelts for scale model aircraft cockpits. All you need is two dirt-cheap materials: thin wire and masking tape (any brand will do). Lots of older plane kits have no seatbelts, or crappy low-detail belts moulded on to the pilot's seat - with this technique you can make your own at NO COST and save on expensive photo etched seatbelts, the easy way to superdetail a fighter cockpit. That is a cheap model maker's dream, and the detail is great! ;)

The model I am building is the ancient old Hasegawa 1/32 scale P-51D Mustang.
