In this short tutorial you will learn to sculpt a female human cake topper. I created her using fondant but this result can easily be acheived using modelling clay, fimo or polymer...I hope you enjoy!
When I started my cake decorating journey I struggled with sculpting humans especially females, they would often end up looking a little heavier than they should or end up with a strange expression on their face! I've found they key with sculpting humans is to keep things simple, especially when just starting out!
I created this female cake topper for a customer who wanted an 2 oktoberfest girl cake toppers, they were a lot of fun to create....I hope you give it a try and dont forget if it doesnt work out as you had hoped first time around...practice makes perfect! Im still not where I want to be in my figure modelling skills but I hope I can encourage you guys to pick up some cake decorating tools and give it a try!
