In this video I'm setting up an Nvidia Shield TV Box using another Android device to set it up and connect it to my Google account.
For this example I'm using an Android Smartphone, in this instance a Google Pixel, although you can use other Android devices such as tablets etc.
So that both devices can communicate with each other, make sure that the Nvidia Shield TV box and the Android device that your using to set it up with are both on the same internet network. Once the setup has been done your Nvidia Shield TV Box may update itself or update any connected peripherals such as the Shield remote or Shield game pad, as happens in this video.
Setting up your Nvidia Shield TV Box this way will help to set it up to your Google account quicker than doing it manually. All the usual setting up of your Google account information can take longer on such devices, especially if you do not have a keyboard attached.
