The Holga is Dead, Long Live the Holga! RIP Holga 120 (1981-2016). We barely knew ye.
This week I review the Holga 120S medium format camera. The Holga was a toy camera manufactured in Hong Kong and gained huge popularity in photography circles for its unpredictable, low-fi results. The Holga is a classic, but it's definitely not for everyone (especially for those who only like sharp photos).
I put the Holga through its paces on the streets of greater Boston (specifically the suburbs of Cambridge, Medford and Brookline) and share my thoughts and results with you. I'll also show you all the different "features" of the camera and load a roll of film for yinz all to see.
Music:
Buukwerm - Pastry
Nicolai Heidlas - Klonkey Donkey
Vibe Tracks - Beat Your Competition
**Also the last music track on the video got out of sync, either during editing or upload (not sure), so sorry about that.
