Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
Think you’re too busy to draw? Think again.
In this video, I show you how I squeeze sketching into a packed day, during a train commute, between meetings, and on the go. With just a tiny sketchbook in your pocket, you can turn short moments into drawing meditations.
You’ll see how I sketch quickly, embrace the wonkiness, and capture what’s around me, without needing perfect conditions or lots of time.
You can totally do this too!
Materials used:
- No-brand tiny sketchbook
- Derwent Inktense colored pencil
Your assignment this week:
Find a 5–10 minute pocket of time this week to sketch. While commuting, waiting, or between tasks.
Draw what’s in front of you, no matter how simple. Use any sketchbook or scrap of paper. Write down where and when you did it next to your sketch!
Let’s prove that even a busy day has room for creativity.
