Native habitat: Northern India
Crape jasmine blooms in spring but flowers appear sporatically all year. The waxy blossoms are white five-petaled pinwheels that are borne in small clusters on the stem tips. Flowers are commonly used in pooja in north and south India.
Medicinal oil prepared from this herb is usedfor eye diseases, eye sight
deterioration and to kill body pain; Siddha physicians prepare medicines from this plant for anti-infection , anti- inflammation and antimicrobial actions; Ink is prepared from flower ; For scent preparation also flower is utilised. In shot - That portin of plant-Tabernaemontana divaricata , full of white flowers !
