How to Torch Fire Cloisonne Enamel on Copper. (Enameling tutorial, Cicada)

Please support my channel on Patreon so I can make more interesting projects in the future! https://www.patreon.com/FridaFeketeJewelry In this video I'm going to show you how to torch fire this cloisonne enamel cicada pendant using copper. I started with cutting out the shape with my saw. After that I made the body of the cicada three dimensional using a hammer and a yoga mat. Next I applied two layers of black enamel on the back and a layer of clear on the front. After I folded the cloisonne wires to match the design. I placed the wires on the surface of the pendant using a tweezer and glue. Fired it with my torch. Next I'm applying the colors, firing it and repeat the process three more times. Last step is the sanding process. Enamel loses it's shine during this process so I fire it again to get the shine back. And it's done! I hope you like it and learned something new!
