An easy and clear method for treating tree wounds using a copper sulfate solution. In my garden, such cracks on the branch appeared after stone fruit branches were affected by moniliosis. A fruit tree produces gum, the bark damage rots from careless pruning or garden work, sap leaks from a crack in the bark after fungal diseases in the seedling—our treatment effectively addresses all of this. It dries the wound, stops wood decay, and stimulates the process of healing and growth of new tree bark. We apply the copper sulfate solution treatment in the summer, and in the fall, to prevent moisture from autumn precipitation, we seal it with antifungal putty, which can be lime or paint with a fungicide.
In the spring, branches affected by moniliosis at the initial stage look like this https://youtu.be/WcOsk10UF90
In the fall and winter, trunk whitewashing for disease and pest protection https://youtu.be/6dZHwwIumLo
Write in the comments if you cut off the affected bark areas before treatment, let's discuss together.
