Thrifted skirt, turned into a lovely romantic layered piece of wearable art! This is a rare step by step tutorial showing you how to create a beautiful altered couture skirt, and I did it all on a dime! I start with a thrifted skirt and show you how to build luscious layers with clothing remnants, lace, tablecloths, fringe, fabric flowers, sequins and more. Then...we dye it a beautiful light blue color with Kentucky sky Dyemore fabric dye. Create your own pieces of wearable art (I have tons of tutorials) to wear, give as gifts or sell like I did. Most of all have fun and don't take it to seriously!
