Close your eyes, take a few breaths, and just notice how you feel. It's that simple. And while doing so, ask yourself, "Who is noticing how I feel?" This is most likely your Self.
Welcome back to the channel! My name is Conor McMillen, and I was trained by the IFS Institute in 2014. I now work as a life coach, helping people learn how to use Internal Family Systems (IFS) on themselves for themselves. IFS has transformed my life, and I’m passionate about guiding others through this incredible healing process.
In today’s video, we’re diving into one of the fundamental concepts of IFS: unblending. Unblending is the process of recognizing when you're blended with a part and learning how to create space between your Self and that part. This practice is crucial for self-leadership, mindfulness, and emotional clarity.
If you're ready to explore IFS further and do the work on yourself, check out my Complete Self-Led IFS Program here. https://www.internalfamilysystems.org/get-started. It's perfect for those wanting to take a personal, empowered approach to healing.
For therapists, coaches, and healers looking to deepen their knowledge of IFS and integrate it with action-based coaching, I’ve developed a Self-Leadership Coaching Training program, which you can learn more about here: https://www.internalfamilysystems.org/training
Thank you for joining me, and I hope this video helps you on your journey toward greater self-awareness and healing. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and leave a comment!
