This is part 1 of a 2 part series on how to use a speed square. For many of us in the trades, this may be way too basic. We we all start with zero knowledge or near zero and we grow from there. So we'll start with an overview of the square itself and then we'll go from there. I want to thank @AshleyHarwood for the idea to go back to basics. I like to keep a couple of 12" squares for marking larger material and then in my tool bags, I carry the 7" Martinez Titanium square. This is 100% a luxury tool for me and I love this square.
