How To Use Calculations Question Type in Kobotoolbox from Beginners to Advanced Level

Some advanced forms may require an internal calculation to take place as part of the form (rather than afterwards during the analysis). This can be done by adding a Calculation and writing the mathematical expression into the question label field.

Simple calculation type

Calculate the number of male student and female student in the class

Determine if respondent is poor on non poor based on his/her monthly income using 1 dollar per day threshold.
