The Power BI drill-through feature is an easy way to provide a more detailed view of your data. Afterall, it's always good to be prepared when you're presenting your data. Power BI Drillthrough is super easy to implement. You just need the right start. In this video I'll show you how to set up drill through in Power BI desktop.

You can also add a button to click on to drill-through to the details. Remember, in Power BI Desktop you have to use Ctrl+click but in PowerBI service, you just need to click. A back image icon is also automatically added to your drillthrough page which then takes you back to your original page. You can have multiple drill-through pages as well. That's great if you want to add different views of the data or if you can't decide what your audience might want.
