Join Dianna and Corey as they show you how to use Hobbs Heirloom Fusible Batting! Fusible batting has many advantages for sit down and hand quilters alike! 🧵 Hobbs Heirloom Fusible Batting: Made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester, with a double sided fusing one one side. This fusing is a thin, tacky heat-activated glue that washes out after quilting. 🌟 Ease of Use: It simplifies quilting by holding the quilt sandwich together, reducing the need for basting sprays or pins, making quilting easier. 🚫 Important Note: Avoid pre-washing the batting as it would wash away the glue, which is essential for the fusibility during quilting. 🧪 Shrinkage Information: The batting has a shrinkage rate of 3-5%, and stitches should be no more than four inches apart for best results. 🧹 Press, Don't Iron: When adhering the fabric, use a pressing motion with an iron set on the cotton setting for 5-7 seconds on each section. Do NOT use steam. LINK HERE: https://lindas.com/search?type=product&q=Fusible
