Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Does your 99-04 Jeep Grand Cherokee have a D44A or D44HD rear axle with the Vari-Lok limited slip? A lot of WJs came with this limited slip differential from the factory. In this video we'll show you how that limited slip works and how to modify it to get more traction out of it! The D44A or D44HD gets a bad rap for being a "weak" axle because it is made of aluminum but in reality, it is still a Dana 44 and worthy of your off road rig. With 30 spline axle shafts and an 8.5" ring gear its internal parts are the same size as a JK D44 rear axle. So, keep it and make it better! Protect the aluminum housing with our D44A diff skid: https://www.ironrockoffroad.com/product/d44a-differential-skid.html Strengthen the complete axle assembly with our D44A truss: https://www.ironrockoffroad.com/product/wj-44a-rear-axle-truss.html Never deal with RTV again and get a D44A LubeLocker gasket: https://www.ironrockoffroad.com/product/lubelocker-gasket-dana-44hd.html
