In today's video, let's discuss how to create story arcs in a manga or comic. Arcs are very helpful in breaking up a long story into smaller parts, to make it easier to read. Arcs are like smaller stories within the main story, and can help with character development or exploration. In this video, we look at two main techniques for writing story structures, the first is a more English style of story structure, and the second is the authentic Kishotenketsu style which is more commonly used in Japanese, Chinese and Korean narrative styles. Through these methods, you can learn to craft an amazing story arc, and present it through your manga or comic.
