You may have already seen our epic FPV fly throughs featuring U2 at the Las Vegas Sphere. Now, we’re thrilled to bring you a unique perspective of our journey in creating these extraordinary films. From the electrifying energy of U2's performance to the mind blowing architecture of the venue, our cameras were rolling to catch every behind the scenes moment.
Filming in the Sphere was a brand new experience for us. Flying through this massive space was slightly disorienting at times, and we had the best partner in our producer @FlyByChicago to make sure this shoot was as safe as possible. For these fly throughs, we flew a custom sub 250 g setup built by Francis Dominise (@webdesign1011) with a stripped down GoPro HERO12 Black.
This project was the ultimate combination of cinematography, music, and storytelling. For us, there’s nothing quite like FPV visuals to bring a concert to life in the edit. Watch as we unveil the magic of filmmaking with one of the greatest bands of all time.
